Orchard Street Brewery, Stock Ale
Bellingham, Wash.
Cost: Pint: $3.50 incl., Six-pack: $7 + tax

Orchard Street Brewery produces quality beers on draft and in bottles, as well as for their restaurant-style taproom. Look for their six-packs on store shelves throughout Whatcom County.

If you're entertaining friends for dinner, have some OSB Stock Ale on-hand. It's brewed to drink with food, with rich full flavors that complement grains or fowl in particular, and a meaty body that adds substance to a meal. For the freshest sample, stop into the restaurant for a pint from the tap.

Proprietor and head brewer, Christian Krogstad calls this beer "balanced and smooth." Intriguing in its malt depths, it has a delicious caramelly flavor and just enough hops to keep it from being cloying. There is a hint of spice in the aroma, followed by subtle nutty taste highlights.
